In class, we've discussed the difference between WHAT an author says and HOW an author gets information to the reader.  Choose an idea to inspire your first post.  WHAT an author says: Although Omri is happy to take care of Little Bear, he soon realizes how different Little Bear's world is from his own.  Compare and contrast an aspect of Omri and Little Bear's "world".  For example, Omri lives in a house and Little Bear lived in a Longhouse.-  OR  -HOW an author conveys information (author's craft): You may choose to discuss an example of author's craft that stuck with you or you can write about the foreshadowing that took  place as Omri went to sleep the first night he placed the Indian toy in the cupboard OR how the author uses Little Bear's dialogue to show his traits. For example, "Not touch! You touch, I use knife!".  What can you infer about Little Bear's character from his dialogue?
