Congratulations to Martin Luther King Intermediate School fifth-graders Dylan Pernell and Maliyah Anderson, who were recognized during a Somerset Patriots game on April 9 for their hard work and dedication toward becoming stronger readers, writers, and presenters! Dylan and Maliyah were nominated by their teacher, Samantha Hunter, after their daily focus and effort allowed them to become more confident in their reading and writing, particularly during class discussions and independent work. They were invited onto the Somerset Patriots field to say their names, their school, and a note of thanks to their parents and teachers.
