Congratulations to Jessica Onyeani, a fourth-grader at Martin Luther King Intermediate School, who got some special gifts for her outstanding opinion essay! 

Students in Katie Kwiatkowski's English Language Arts were asked to write essays earlier in the school year on brands that they felt strongly about. Students then sent the essays to those companies as letters.

Chick-fil-A was so impressed with Jessica's essay about their product that they sent her a box of goodies. Ms. Kwiatkowski and her class were so excited for Jessica, who was the first in the class to receive a response!
