Martin Luther King Intermediate School put a special focus on kindness, inclusion, and understanding for its celebration of Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month in March!
Students and staff participated in “Wear Green Day” in recognition of National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day on March 25, showing solidarity and support for individuals with CP.
Throughout the month, classrooms engaged in lessons centered on empathy, helping students build awareness and appreciation for the diverse abilities within our community. A highlight of the celebration was a Kindness Pledge Wall, where students shared their personal commitments to creating a more inclusive and compassionate school environment.
We are proud of our students for embracing these important values and demonstrating that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
