ML King students excited learn basics of Indian song and dance

Students at Martin Luther King Intermediate School had a wonderful time learning the basics of Indian music and dance!
Gitanjali Music and Dance visited on Monday, Oct. 19, to perform and lead students through interactive exercises. Teachers related Indian songs and dances to western types of music and gave the students a chance to try something new. The assembly was part of our district’s celebration of Hindu Heritage Month throughout October.
